SYNOPSIS
End of October 2019: a group of militants settled in the heart of a forest in the Ardennes. Their target is to defend the site from economic activities of Idelux, which will build in that territory. A new ZAD was born. The camp will be dismantled and razed to the ground by the forces of order five hundred days later. Through the story of Eden, the film lets us relive the days of the camp’s construction. In freezing winter temperatures, black hooded bodies stand out against the white of the snow, and the life in the warmth of the embers in the tents, amidst discussions and music. Until the aftermath of an armed destruction, that leaves only rubble, where once there was hope of an uprising in favour of a new way of life.
